What is SIR's (Sons In Retirement)?

Sons In Retirement is a nonprofit public benefit corporation for retired men. The purpose of SIR's is to assist men in renewing friendships and making new friends through SIR's activities. Having fun is our goal. The only requirement for membership is that a man is retired from full time employment. From its inception in 1958 Sons In Retirement has grown to over 28,000 members in 2000.
